In 2022, upon the release of this book, Fondation Novandi organized two launch events, one in Boncourt and the other in Geneva.
Several speakers presented the book and explained the importance of recounting these exceptional historical events, including the author Philippe Turrel, Régis Burrus (Foundation President), and Madame Bernadette Burrus (Co‑Founder).
Representatives of the Swiss Red Cross, Mr. Eddy Houlmann and Mr. Eric Mégevand, also explained the crucial role played by the Swiss Red Cross.
Madame Marie‑Thérèse Boiteux shared her personal story and her arrival in Switzerland in 1944.

Following the publication of the book, in 2024 Fondation Novandi and the Musée jurassien d’art et d’histoire (MJAH), in collaboration with the Jura Canton Education Service (SEN), organized an exhibition of the Foundation’s image collection and a school conference at the Collège de Delémont.
The Foundation is honoured that the Jura Canton Education Service have decided to include the book’s content in its history curriculum for 12–15‑year‑olds, starting in 2025.
The Foundation’s image collection has since been circulating in schools across the canton.
