The foundation’s commitments:

  • Support for deserving students

  • Support for the EPFL ‘Girls Coding Club’ programme

  • Exhibition of the Novandi collection

The Foundation continues its commitment to young people by actively supporting students in training through the award of study grants. In particular, it works with various schools and institutions to facilitate access to education, promote personal development and help young people realise their academic and professional ambitions.

The Foundation has decided to renew its support for the ‘Coding Club des filles’ programme offered by EPFL. This programme enables girls aged 11 to 16 to learn a programming language or video game creation.

Following the publication of the book ‘1942-1944 Boncourt, un dilemme suisse’ (Boncourt, a Swiss dilemma), Fondation Novandi and the Musée jurassien d'art et d'histoire (MJAH), in collaboration with the Service de l'enseignement du Canton du Jura (SEN), organised an exhibition of the Foundation's image collection and a school conference at the Collège de Delémont in May 2024. During these two events, Mrs Florence Boesch came to talk about the major commitment of her grandfather, François Bourquenez. Marie-Thérèse Boiteux, a ‘child of Belfort’, also came to tell her story and how she was welcomed into Switzerland in September 1944. Fondation Novandi is honoured that the Canton of Jura's Education Department has decided to incorporate the contents of the book into its history programme for 12–15-year-olds.
